What is a data center, really?
A data center is a secure facility filled with computers that store and process information — the infrastructure behind everyday things like online banking, video calls, hospital records systems, and GPS navigation. Without facilities like this, streaming, telehealth appointments, and mobile banking simply don’t work.
Increasingly, these facilities also provide the computing power behind AI tools — the systems that help route traffic around delays, flag fraud on a bank account, or assist a radiologist reviewing a scan. That demand is part of why campuses like this one are being proposed across the country, including here.

Local suppliers providing materials, food service, transportation, lodging, landscaping, and maintenance as the project ramps up and stays operational.
Investing in education and workforce readiness
We intend to work directly with Walla Walla Community College and regional high school career-technical programs to build a training pipeline for the electrical, mechanical, and IT roles this project would need — so local residents, not just outside contractors, are positioned to fill them.
