Pay Our Own Way
Project Townsville will fund the infrastructure and utility services required for the campus. Existing customers will not be asked to subsidize project-related electrical infrastructure or operating costs.

Protect Local Water Resources
The project will use closed-loop cooling and water-efficient systems designed to keep ongoing water demand low. Water use will be measured, reviewed, and included in regular public reporting.

Create Local Career Pathways
We will work with local educators and workforce organizations to prepare residents for construction, technical, administrative, and operational careers.

Prioritize Local Businesses
Qualified local contractors, suppliers, and service providers will have clear opportunities to learn about procurement needs and compete for work.

Townsville Community Advancement Fund
Meridian Compute Partners plans to contribute $35 million to the Townsville Community Advancement Fund over the first 15 years of project development and operation.
Funding priorities will be shaped through conversations with residents, educators, local officials, health care providers, first responders, business owners, and nonprofit organizations.
